IMO, the Pirate classes are shit because of their inconsistencies many buffs are dependent on real luck, like the dice skill and some of the activation skills. I/L Mages can be literally be replaced by Luminous, although they do have Frozen Orb and Frozen Breath for bindingīuccs, like some have mentioned, are also literally replaced by Shades who use the exact same weapons and equipments but deal more consistent damage and have other things going on like Soul Splitter. Some Explorers are however very sad because what they can do can be easily done better by someone else -Ĭorsairs are a weaker, squishier and clunkier Bowmaster/any ranged class Marksman can deal the highest single damage due to the nature of their skillsį/P Mages are potentially the best bossers for unfunded players

From what I have observed and done so far(given with a good staff/wand, secondary, and emblem) they can go as low as ~4k INT(no DSI and MPE potion, post-elemental reset nerf) and can clear Hard Magnus. As for bossing, well I do not know in comparison to others but, I believe I/L mages can potentially boss rather early. Most would view Frozen Breath as a bind but to me, as a bosser, it's my panic button in case I do get stuck in a particular situation so it's kind of a support/survival skill.
